The Trade Settlement Analyst will primarily support the trade settlement and reconciliation process across multiple asset classes.  The position will interface with the trading, compliance, and operations teams, along with third parties, like custodian banks and brokers.  We are looking for someone with a minimum of 3 years of experience working with fixed income trade settlements; experience with international and equity settlements is a bonus.  Ideal candidates have previous asset management experience with a focus on trade support, knowledge of Eze Castle Software or similar order management system, and Omego product suite or similar trade settlement software.  Advanced Excel skills are required.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Trade Settlement Analyst
POSITION SUMMARY
The position interfaces with the trading, compliance, and operations teams along with third parties, like custodian banks and brokers. Its primary function is to support the trade settlement and reconciliation process across multiple asset classes.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
♦ Perform and monitor trade affirmation and settlement of market transactions.
♦ Work with brokers and custodian banks for timely resolution of trade settlement issues, including failing trades and cancel/rebills.
♦ Ensure compliance with domestic and global regulatory requirements as it relates to trade settlement.
♦ Monitor trade routing, delivery, and allocations including, but not limited to: trade delivery to custodians, record keepers and interested parties (swift, fax, flat file) along with trade capture reporting generation, delivery and issue resolution.
♦ Establish new accounts, new broker relationships, and custodians throughout internal settlements/allocations systems along with implementing changes for terminations and account transfers.
♦ Handle maintenance and communication on variable rate resets, floating rate changes, and factor updates.
♦ Responsibility for client commission agreements (CCA) reconciliation, commission reporting, and broker payments.
QUALIFICATIONS
♦ Minimum 3 years working with fixed income trade settlements. Experience with international and equity settlements a plus.
♦ Strong technical, communication, attention to detail, and analytical skills.
♦ Ability to lead discussions, track issues and troubleshoot solutions with demonstrated ability for follow-up.
♦ Self-starter, efficiency-minded, independent thinker, works with minimal supervision.

♦ Previous asset management experience with focus on trade support and operations desired.
♦ Deep understanding of the trade life cycle, settlements process, and applicable rules and regulations.
♦ Knowledge of Eze Castle Software or similar order management system a plus.
♦ Experience with Omgeo product suite or similar trade settlement and affirmation/confirmation software a plus.
♦ Advanced Microsoft Excel skills: lookups, pivot tables, etc.
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
♦ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field discipline.
